 The Kangaroo Conservation Center is Georgia's Aussie Adventure. Visit and view the largest kangaroo collection outside of Australia. Located in Dawsonville, GA.  Resevations are necessary to avoid disappointment.  Children must be 8 years old.  Kangaroo Center is located near Amicalola Falls.  The Kangaroo Conservation Center features an 87 acre preserve which is home to  the largest collection of kangaroos outside of Australia. In the fall, visit  Burt’s pumpkin farm in the secluded North Georgia Mountains where there are thousands of pumpkin you can choose.


Miniature Golf and Batting Cages - Gilmer Golf and Games, Hwy 515  south of Walmart. Play mini golf on one of the most scenic miniature golf courses in the entire state of Georgia. Sugar Creek Raceway - Open seasonally from the third Friday in March to the third Friday in September, this raceway offers dirt track car racing every Friday night on a high banked clay oval track. The gates open at 5:00 p.m. and the races start 7:30 p.m. Located on Sugar Creek in between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. From Blue Ridge, take Scenic Drive, then head south on Sugar Creek. From downtown Ellijay, take Boardtown toward Blue Ridge. Boardtown turns into Sugar Creek. 706-632-9083
