River Deep Mountain High rental cabin in Ellijay Georgia is centrally located to many North Georgia Mountain activities. Fish, tube, canoe, kayak, pan for gold on Mountaintown Creek without ever leaving the cabin or the Coosawattee River Resort.
Don't miss a memorable train ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway through the North Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains along the scenic Toccoa River from Blue Ridge to Copperhill, Tennessee. The train runs March through December for spectacular scenic views through the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. In the summer season, the Blue Ridge train ride can be combined with Ocoee River rafting.
If you are from out-of-state, you may find the North Georgia Mountains to be a convenient location for Atlanta sightseeing. Train buffs will want to ride the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway for a fun-filled ride through the North Georgia Mountains along the banks of the Toccoa River.
Take a drive (under an hour) to Chattanooga to ride the train on the Tennessee Valley Railroad, the Chattanooga Choo Choo.
